| | | | The pictures below show larger views of this Colorful Old Wooden Anri Thorens Wind Up Mechanical Musical Musician Carousel Figurine. This musical figurine is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It was crafted, hand painted, and copyrighted in Italy by Anri. The mechanical wooden carousel has a revolving center section with two carved and painted wooden Musician figures including one boy playing a drum, one boy playing a horn, two birds, and seven painted flowers. There is a design around the base, painting on the poles, balls on the top or roof, a button to start and stop the music, and a key wind with a tin tag. Inside the base is a Swiss made musical movement that was made by Thorens that plays the song “Camelot”. The musical figurine is marked as follows: (stamped on the bottom with a pine tree)

PATENT To judge the sizes the the musical carousel figurine measures about 9-3/4'' x 5-1/4''. It appears to be in excellent to near mint condition as pictured. The music plays well, and the center revolves nicely as well. |
