| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (56) Different 1959 Nabisco Cereal Prize Lithographed Tin United Nations Country Flags in this lot. (38) of these are unopened in their paper prize envelopes, and (18) are opened in plastic bags. This United Nations Flags set was available in 1959 and there were (83) flags to the complete set. This lot is a good head start to the full set. There was a United States set available as well. The tin flags were acquired from Nabisco Shredded Wheat cereal boxes and you had to mail away for the World map to put them on. The back of the flags have information about the different countries. They have tabs so that they can all be connected to each other or to hang them from the world map poster. The tin flags each measure 1-1/2'' x 2''. Many of the tin flags are in unopened paper wrappers as pictured. Some of the wrappers have some old spotting or age discoloration. Those that are opened appear to be in near mint and mint condition.
