The pictures show views of this ©1952 Nissen Bread Aircraft Spotter Bread End Label Album. This album was given out by Nissen Bread to put their aircraft bread end labels in. There are spaces for the set of (48) labels and another (24) for duplicates. The first (48) have the aircraft name and some information about it. The booklet has a forward from the John J. Nissen Baking Company. It has four pages with text and illustrations on ''THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN AVIATION 1907 - 1951 In Brief''. There are three pages on ''HOW TO IDENTIFY AIRCRAFT''. The back cover pictures a loaf of Nissen Bread and (8) of the bread end labels. The front pictures two jets, a globe, a skyscraper, and a factory. The covers are marked as follows: HANDBOOK FOR JUNIOR AIRCRAFT SPOTTERS AT YOUR GROCERS' FRESH NEW PICTURES DAILY Closed the booklet measures 8-3/8'' x 7-1/8''. It is in good condition. The inside pages are all clean and unused. The cover has some light spotting and a missing corner on the back as pictured. |
