The picture below shows a larger view of all (6) Different Rare Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Metal Coated Plastic Toy Prize Figures in this lot. These are not dated but they were made from 1949 - 1950 Cracker Jack prizes. I had personally acquired these back in the 1980s while doing Cracker Jack artwork for Borden. They thought that they would interest me, and they did, but I do not remember why they said that they were made. They were probably, or possibly prototype sample figures that were being considered for use as a Cracker Jack prize. These are coated with either gold and silver colored metals. The original plastic prizes were made in mid 1950s by the Nosco Plastics. Included in this lot are the following: Buffalo or American Bison Figure (silver color) #7 Race Car Figure With Driver (silver color) Lab or Retriever Dog Figure (gold color) Boxer Dog Figure (silver color) Scottie Dog or Scottish Terrier Dog Figure on Hind Legs (gold color) Boxing Kangaroo Figure With Gloves (silver color) Don’t miss your chance at these unique prize figures. All six of these for one price! To judge the sizes, the Hunter prize on the left measures about 1-13/16'' tall. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
