The picture below shows a larger view of this 1939 Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed & Die Cut Tin Toy Prize Sun Dial. The back is clean and blank as made. This Sundial prize was made in two color combinations. Both were gold, green, and black, but the green and gold colors were reversed. They were both made in 1939, and there are two different Cracker Jack ID numbers for them including Z-0899 and Z-0910. The Sun Dial has the North, South, East, and West directions, Roman numerals, and marked “SUN DIAL”. The times go from about 5:00 a.m. to about 7:00 p.m.. There is a “V” shape punched out and bent up. When held correctly facing North, the shadow will fall on the correct time of day. The sun dial measures about 1-3/8'' x 1-1/2''. It appears to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured. This particular sundial was punched out slightly off center so the numbers are partially cropped as made. Also, the loop at the top has not been punched out.
