The booklet has (28) pages filled with a story of coal or anthracite and very colorful 1920s graphic images of dinosaurs, caveman, Animals, insects, fish, plants, mountains, birds, people, an old coal stove, coal miners, coal processors, a steam locomotive engine with coal train cars, buildings, houses, furnace fires, and a map of northern and eastern United States. Some of the many images are pictured below. Every page has a nice image. Also inside is some information on The Philadelphia and Reading Coal and Iron Company, as well as information on burning coal in a furnace. The booklet measures about 5-1/4'' x 8''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. There is some light wrinkling and some age discoloration on the back cover. |
