The pictures below show larger top and bottom views of this Old Metal Famous Historic Inventors Novelty Gold Coin Paper Weight. The paperweight is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. It is not marked and the maker is also unknown. There is a recessed area on the back or bottom that may have had a label of some kind. If there was, there is nothing there now. There are four soft round brown pads on the bottom to protect surfaces. The metal paperweight appears to be made of brass. It has many different coins. Many can be seen, but also many only partially. The coins have images of famous inventors men, women, Native American Indians, and some years. Some of those that can be seen are marked as follows:

SAMUEL F. B. MORSE INV. OF TELEGRAPHY 1832
ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL 1872
THOMAS ALVA EDISON
ROBERT STEPHENSON FIRST LOCOMOTIVE
ORVILLE WRIGHT INV. OF THE AIRPLANE
WILBUR WRIGHT INV. OF THE AIRPLANE
PAUL REVERE 1775
ROBERT FULTON FIRST STEAM BOAT
BENJAMIN FRANKLIN
LOUIS PASTEUR 1895
CHARLES PROTEUS STEINMETZ WIZARD OF ELECTRISITY
MARIE CURIE INV. OF RADIUM
GENERAL GEO. W. GOETHALS 1928
PETER STUYVESANT 1672
and Many More...

The paperweight, at its widest points, measures about 5-3/4'' x 5'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
