| The picture below shows a larger view of the Lot of Carded and Loose 486 & 586 Intel Computer Chips Whole & Pieces in this lot. Included in this lot there are (20) small cards Intel 486 and 586 chips on the two sides, (4) cards with only one chip still attached, and a few hundred loose chips (whole and pieces). the whole lot, not counting the plastic box, weighs 1.7 ounces altogether. We do not know how much of this would be gold. All of these chips were acquired in a collection of tiny parts from a company that made many different company advertising and employee service year jewelry pins of gold, sterling silver, and other metals. Apparently they had used these chips to make tie tack pins, neck tie bars, cuff links, and pendants. We have had, sold, and given away as gifts some of these jewelry items. We have also seen the carded chips put in paper weights as well. There are many whole chips here, both carded and loose. There are also many bits and pieces of broken ones, like some seen on the cards. All that is pictured is included in this lot for one price!
