| | | The picture shows all (8) Old Sweetheart & Military Service Star Pins in this lot. Each star represents one family member serving in the military. It appears that there are pins in this lot from both World War I and World War II. There is one from the U.S. Navy, one from the U.S. Coast Guard, and one from the U.S. Army. I am not sure about the two part one on the bottom. It is marked "4th DIVISION". I would guess that it is from the Army also. The Navy, Coast Guard, and the three star pin on the left are marked "STERLING". The "WAR 1917" pin is marked "10K" gold. The top right one is a plastic lapel stud button. The fourth Division pin is marked "WHITTMORE & CO. ATTLEBORO, MA." on the back. To judge the sizes the Navy pin with hanging anchor charm measures 1-1/4" tall. They all appear to be in excellent or better condition. |
