This very colorful punch out card was given out with packages of Shotwell's Puritan Marshmallows in the 1930's to make animal decorations with Marshmallows. The card has many very colorful animal parts to be punched out and applied. There are also name cards for place settings. There is advertising and instructions on the card as well. The comic animals to be made that are included on this card are as follows: LION
CAMEL
COW
ELEPHANT
DOG
GIRAFFE
HIPPO
KANGAROO The card measures 9-1/2" x 8-1/2". It is all present, unpunched and in mint condition. The Shotwell Manufacturing Company was a strong competitor to the Cracker Jack Company. |
