| | | The picture shows all (6) Old Interesting Ladies Purse Items in this lot. The first item is an old marblized plastic coin holder. It has spring loaded compartments for quarters, dimes, and nickels. The other side not shown has a raised elephant. It is in excellent condtion but the strong springs inside are pushing the bottom opened. The second item is very interesting. It is a small metal container. The cap has a raised image of a zipper on top and is marked "ZIP HER". Inside and connected to the cap is a 22" long bead chain with a hook on the end. What this is for is so a woman can zip her dress up by herself without problems. It is in near mint to mint condition The third item is an old empty make up tin or compact. It is made of brass and has flower and border pattern. There are no markings. It does have wear on the top and bottom. The fourth item is an old celluloid holder with mirror. I don’t know what this was for, perhaps makeup, Q-Tips, or as a match safe, I'm not sure. It has a hinged lid. It is in excellent condition with some spotting on the small oval mirror. The fifth item is a copper metal hinged "CACHE" box. inside the is a space to hold dollar bills, pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and half dollars. It is in excellent condition with some light outer wear. The inside appears to be unused. The fifth and final item in this lot is a small metal mechanical adding machine. It is made of brass with the top section painted black. It is called and marked "SHOP - N - ADD". There are three dials that are moved by a small wire pencil that is not present. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. To judge the sizes the money box measures 3" x 4" x 5/8". |
