| | | | The pictures below show larger front and back view of this Colorful Old Tobacco Premium Miniature Native American Indian Blanket or Rug. It is not marked and the company that it came from is unknown. The blanket or rug is not dated but it is old. Many years ago tobacco companies gave away many different premiums including felt flags, sports, school, and other felts as well as imprinted silk items and rugs. Many different sets were produced. This one would make a great miniature rug or blanket for an old dollhouse. We are not sure which side is the front or back. Both sides are equally as nice, just reversed. It has a great colorful hunting Native American Indian design. In the center is a Native American indian with a spear on a horse. On each side of him is a deer killed with a spear or arrow. The blanket or rug measures about 8-1/2'' x 5-1/4''. It appears to be mint condition with one tiny brown spot as pictured. |
