The button has gold printed scroll work and is marked ''SHAPE SPECIAL''. The ribbon is pink with gold print. It is marked as follows: First Annual Exhibition Sanford Poultry Association At Turn Hall Sanford, Me. Dec. 2-4, 1913 There is a paper insert in the back of the button. It pictures a factory building, has a Union mark, and reads as follows: The Sommer Badge Mfg. Co Makers Of Badges, Banners, Buttons, Novelties, Souvenirs 237 - 241 Halsey Street, Newark, N.J., U.S.A. There is an unused paper label on the back of the ribbon. It has a Union mark and reads as follows: Awarded At Name Owner Class Made By The Sommer Badge Mfg. Co. 237-9 Halset Street Newark, N.J. The largest Premium Ribbon House in the United States. The ribbon badge measures 7-1/2'' tall. It is in near mint condition as pictured. |
