| | | | The picture shows a view of all (4) Different Old Unused Three Mile Island Camp Meredith New Hampshire Real Photo Post Cards in this lot. These postcards are not dated but they are all old. Three of these real photo post cards have a view of Lake Winniepesaukee and the shore. The other one has an interior view of one of the old camp cabins. The post cards in the order pictured (left to right) are marked as follows: 79 - MAIN WHARF, THREE MILE ISLAND 31 - TURTLE ROCK CABIN, THREE MILE ISLAND 27 - CABIN INTERIOR, THREE MILE ISLAND 16 - THE EAST SHORE VIEW, THREE MILE ISLAND The postcards each measure 5-3/8'' x 3-7/16''. They are all in mint unused condition as pictured. Below here is some additional information about the Three Mile Island Camp which is still in operation today: Three Mile Island Camp is an AMC full service camp located three miles down the lake from the northern end of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Built on a 43 acre island in 1900, ''campers'' enjoy a relaxed and simple life that has changed little since the camp's founding. It is a place where several generations of families and newcomers alike come to swim, fish, kayak, canoe, and sail in New Hampshire's largest lake. Many enjoy hiking in the nearby White, Ossippee, and Bald Peak mountain ranges. And all relax with friends and family, with three delicious meals provided for stays of either one or two weeks in the summer and four weekends in the fall. Three Mile Island Camp is a volunteer managed family oriented facility of the Appalachian Mountain Club. Located on Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, N.H., ''Three Mile Island'' welcomes AMC members and the general public to summer and fall camping opportunities. Situated on an island of 43 rocky woodland acres, this shorefront camp offers families a delightful recreational experience in the heart of New Hampshire's lake district. Exploration of the woods, swimming, boating, and conservation programs are just a sampling of the pleasures this island getaway offers. |
