The picture below shows a larger view of this Unused ©1957 From Hell It Came and The Disembodied Double Feature Horror Movie Ad Mat Mold. This double feature admat is not dated but they are from 1957 movies. These are molds in which lead is poured to create a thin metal negative image that is then mounted on a wooden block for printing. Advertising is no longer being made or printed like this.

The ad mats are like miniature 3-D posters and would look nice framed, or you could still use them and make print blocks from them. The print block would have been used to print on movie pages in newspapers, in magazines, or in the movie theater programs. It is made of a thick compressed paper board.

The admat has movie scene images from the double feature movie advertising. There are two inset images. The left one has a a Devil like creature with a woman. The right one has a pretty lady holding up a dagger and a fetish doll with a skull in the background. The admat is marked as follows:

WORLD'S HORROR TOPPERS OF SHUDDER, SHRIEK & SHAKE!
FROM HELL IT CAME
THE BEAST THING FROM HADES!
STARRING TOD ANDREWS – TINA CARVER
ALLIED ARTISTS PICTURES

THE DISEMBODIED
KILLER WITCH OF THE JUNGLE!
STARRING PAUL BURKE - ALLISON HAYES
ALLIED ARTISTS PICTURES
202

The ad mat measure about 4-3/4'' x 2-7/8''. It appears to be in mint unused condition as pictured.
