(5) Old Bar or Tavern Interior Photographs
Interior   Bar   Tavern   Photo   Photograph   Bartender   Occupational   Alcohol   Beer   Whiskey   Advertising   Americana   Nostalgic   Sports   Baseball   Boxing
The picture shows a view of all (5) Old Bar or Tavern Interior Photographs in this lot. These are not marked or dated but they are believed to be from the 1940s. They are also believed to be from the same bar. The location is unknown. The photographs are clearer and much more detail can be seen than in the scans pictured.

In the first photo there are two men and a woman in a booth or at a table. Behind them are many framed photographs on the wall. One is of baseball player Stan Musial, another is of a Boston Red Sox player, and the rest are of other baseball players and posed photos of boxers.

The next photo has the bartender giving an elderly woman whiskey from a bottle behind the bar. Many liquor bottles can be seen as well as a Pepperoni Beef Stix display and other snacks, a Phillies Cigar box, two framed dollars, a few unreadable signs, and one sign that reads ''B-21 or B-GONE''.

The third photo is at the bar with the Bartender and three customers. This one has some framed photographs behind the bar of baseball players and basketball. Most of the signs behind the bar can be read on this one. They are as follows:

The fourth photo is of a man and a woman at at bar table with drinks. To the right is a side view of an old music jukebox.

The fifth and final photo in this lot is of the Bartender and three customers at the bar. Behind them appears to be an old cigarette or candy vending machine.

To judge the sizes the larger photos measure about 4-1/4'' x 3-1/4''. They are in good condition with some wear and wrinkling.
