There are two pictures showing views of all (6) Old United States Military Paper Items and the Bonus in this lot. The first item is a two sided "CHEMICAL WARFARE POCKET REFERENCE CARD". It has charts for Agents, Symptoms, First Aid, Decontamination, Protection Tips, and more. Next is an old U.S. Army Infantryman Prayer Card. Next is an old graphic U.S. Army match book cover. The other side looks like it doubles as a post card. It has Army insignias a tank and soldiers. Next is a 1942 World War II "SOLDIER'S INDIVIDUAL PAY RECORD" Booklet. There is some information written inside as well as the Soldier's signature. Stapled in the back is his eye prescription. Also found in this booklet is the included four leaf clover bonus (pictured). Next is an old unused $1.00 Canteen Card. It has 1 cent and 5 cent areas to be punched. There is a little light writing in pencil on the back. The last item in this lot is a Certificate for captured enemy equipment. This document is dated 21 March 1946, signed, and stamped. It is for a 32 Caliber Revolver #53. Under the signature it is marked 2nd Batallion Company A 400th MPB. The bottom has separated, but it does not contain additional information. The print that is seen was transfered from the above when folded. It is an interesting war souvenir document. To judge the sizes the match cover measures 3" x 4-1/2". The conditions of these vary. They appear to have been carried on the soldier (perhaps in war) so there is wear as can be seen in the pictures. |
