The envelope pictures Straight Arrow, the Straight Arrow logo, a quiver with arrows, a tomahawk, a tepee, mocassins, a knife, and a drum. It is marked as follows: STRAIGHT AEEOW INDIAN JIG SAW ONE OF TWELVE THRILLING SCENES ... GET THEM ALL COPR. 1949 NATIONAL BISCUIT CO. N.Y. PRODUCED BY ADV SERV. DIV. INC. N.Y. The puzzle has a colorful image of Straight Arrow and many other Native Americans on horses attacking. It reads as follows: ©1949 NATIONAL BISCUIT CO. N.Y. STRAIGHT ARROW LEADS THE COMANCHES TO VICTORY To judge the sizes the envelope measures 9-1/4'' x 7-1/2''. The puzzle appears to be in mint condition. In the picture below, the paper layer of one puzzle piece tab folded over when it was taken out of the envelope to photograph. It was simply folded back again. The envelope has some wear and wrinkling from handling as pictured. The flap on the other side has a tear from opening. |
