The pictures show a front and back view of all (6) Small Old New England & Canada Railroad or Train Tickets in this lot. This is an accumulated lot from different sources. The first one may be the oldest, but the oldest dated one is the Sherbrooke ticket from the 1870s and the newest dated ones are the two bottom ones from 1938. Included in this lot are the following tickets: Lynn & Boston R.R. Co. Six Cent Fare E. F. Oliver - Treasurer Vermont Transit Co., Inc. Burlington Vt. to Rutland Vt. Maine Central Railroad Farmington to Waterville, Me. (stamped on back) May 18, 1929 Conn & Passumpsic R.R. Issued by Northern Railroad Sherbrooke (Canada) (stamped on back) Dec. 4, 187? Concord, N.H. (2) Boston & Maine Railroad Good For Between Boston, Mass. and Woburn or Grape Street These two tickets were found in an envelope in a 1938 scrapbook and have 1938 lightly written in pencil on the backs. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the largest ticket here measures 2-5/8'' x 1-1/4''. These appear to range from poor to excellent condition as pictured. Three of these have punch holes. |
