| The picture below shows larger front and back views of this 1946 Tom Mix Cowboy Hero Dobie County Sheriff Ralston Straight Shooter Premium Siren Badge. There is only one being offered here, and both sides are being shown. We believe that this was a mail away premium through Ralston cereal, and Tom Mix’s radio program. The badge is made of gold painted, embossed tin. It has an applied pin and a spinning siren whistle on the back. It has two crossed revolver guns on the front top, the Ralston checkerboard design, a shield shape, and five stars. It is also marked on the front as follows: SHERIFF

RALSTON STRAIGHT SHOOTERS The badge measures about 1-7/8'' x 2-1/4''. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. The whistle or siren spinner spins freely, however, for some reason it does not whistle when blown. |
