The picture below shows a view of the (3) Carded Miniature Games. These are the very same games that were boxed and used as Cracker Jack prizes in the 1960's. This is another of three ways in which these little games and puzzles were marketed. This version was used in the old five & dime stores. You will see printed on the card a design behind each of the games. This is the very same box art that was used for the Cracker Jack prize version. The other way that these were sold is by putting the game in a bag, cutting the box design and stapling it to the top as a header card. There were also two sizes that were made. The backing card readsas follows: 3 DIFFERENT STYLES ~ GAMES ~ AND PUZZLE Each of the games are made of hard plastic and the game pieces must be snapped off to play. The instructions are printed on the card behind the games (on the box back if they were folded). The names of the three included games are: MAGIC NUMBERS POCKET PUZZLE RACE TO THE MOON Exciting Space Age Game For Two Players TIC - TAC - TOE GAME For Two Players To judge the sizes, the card measures 5-1/2'' x 4-7/8''. It is in excellent to near mint condition as pictured. |
