The picture shows a view of all (3) Old Numbered Brass Metal Mayflower Advertising Check or Fob Charms in this lot. These are not dated but they are old. We can only guess where these were used. They may have been from a hotel, store, night club, restaurant, or other type location where you checked in a coat, hat, purse, gun, or some other personal belonging. You would receive this brass token as a receipt and use it to reclaim your item when leaving. They look like old pocket watch fobs, but the slot at the top was most likely for a holder that they were kept on when not in use. Obviously the location name is ''MAYFLOWER''. These are numbered #106, #116, & #155. The backs are blank. They are marked as follows: MAYFLOWER (number) 50c CHARGE IF CHECK IS LOST J. CARROLL These claim checks each measure 1-7/16'' x 1-11/16''. They appear to be in good used condition as pictured. |
