The pictures below show more and larger views of this Unused Boxed ©1984 U.S.S. Constitution Ship In A Bottle Woodkrafter Model Kit. This kit is complete with instructions. It was made in the U.S.A. by Woodkrafter Kits of Yarmouth, Maine. The box pictures the built and painted ship in a bottle model with a nautical chart or map background. The bottom also advertises a Mayflower ship kit that is a part of this series. The box measures 8-1/2'' x 5-1/4'' x 2-5/8''. The glass bottle with the cork that is included measures about 7-7/8'' long. The parts appear to be in mint condition. the box has some over all light shelf wear as pictured.

1830 - Oliver Wendell Holmes writes poem “Old Ironsides”. Congress approves funding for restoration.

1860 - 1870 - Constitution serves as a training ship at Naval Academy.
1882 - 1897 - Moored in New Hampshire serving as a receiving ship for new recruits.
