| The pictures below show larger views of this Colorful Old Porcelain & Metal Matching Cigarette or Cigar Lighter & Ash Tray Set. This set was found together. It is not dated but the set is believed to be from the 1950s or the 1960s. The matching ashtray doest not have color on the bottom. On the bottom of the lighter there is a tiny oval sticker that pictures an angel or a fairy. It is marked as follows: A FAIRYLAND

JAPAN The metal lighter pulls out of the painted porcelain or ceramic base. It reads as follows: PAT. NO. 336415
MADE IN JAPAN Both of these for one price! To judge the sizes the lighter measures about 2'' x 2-7/8'' x 1-1/16''. The set appears to be in excellent condition as pictured, but there is a small bottom edge chip on the lighter base (see picture #2). The lighter does have a wick, but it will need a new flint, and lighter fluid, if it is to be used. We do not fill old lighters, and we do not test them, so you must consider it by appearance. |
