The picture below shows a larger view of all of the 1939 – 1954 Rochester New Hampshire Scenic Theatre Movie Advertisements in this lot. Someone had saved all of these advertisements. Perhaps they saw many of them, we do not know. The Scenic Theatre was located on North Main Street at Central Square in Rochester and was opened in 1912. After 60 years of showing movies, the theatre closed in 1972. There are other stories, advertisements and more in these papaers and on the other sides as well. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the top right paper pictured measures about 8-3/4'' x 14-1/4''. These appear to be in excellent condition with some normal yellowing from age as pictured.
