One side has The White House building, an eagle image, and it reads as follows: VICTORY LIBERTY LOAN The other side has not been engraved with a name. It is marked as follows: AWARDED (blank) BY THE U.S. TREASURY DEPARTMENT FOR PATRIOTIC SERVICE IN BEHALF OF THE LIBERTY LOANS MADE FROM CAPTURED GERMAN CANNON The award coin measures about 1-3/16'' wide. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
