We do not know when this boxed card set was given out by McDonald’s, but the two Hearts and Crazy 8s instruction cards are dated ©1960. Apparently the box has a Ronald McDonald sticker applied to the old stock card game box of Russell, and given out somewhere. The cards do not have any McDonalds characters on them, but the sticker on the box pictures Ronald. The cards have many different cute and colorful animals, and some of them are pictured below. These Russell Card Games are were for ages 7 to 16. They were from The Russell Manufacturing Company of Leicester, Massachusetts. The game or playing cards each measure about 2-1/4'' x 3-3/8''. The boxed set is unused, complete, and appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
