This was a mail away premium from Wheaties cereal of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The game here has the following parts: There is the large mailer envelope which has a graphic image of a football player running with a football. The mailing address label was removed at some point, or fell off. The envelope or mailer has over all wear and tear, as well as discoloration from handling and age, but at least it is present. U.S. POSTAGE PAID PERMIT NO. 21 MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. There is the large two sided playing chart and Playing Instructions card. This large folding card tells you and shows you how to play the game. It has scotch tape all around the edges and on the center fold. Next there is the 39;39;GRIDIRON BOARD39;39; or playing field with slider parts. There are three sliders for 39;39;PLAYS39;39;, 39;39;YARDS TO GAIN39;39;, and 39;39;TEAMS39;39;. The 39;39;DOWNS39;39; slider for the small upper right area is missing. Lastly there are (2) small wooden block numbered dice included. The instructions state that there should be (5) of the wooden blocks, Three are missing. To judge the sizes the mailer envelope measures 1239;39; x 939;39;. The game appears to be over all only in fair condition as pictured and there are a few missing parts as mentioned above. |
