The picture shows a front and back view of this Old Curtiss Candy Company Advertising Premium Kleenex Tissue Packet. The packet is not dated, but it is believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. It has a color advertisement for Curtiss Corn Muffin Mix and a recipe for the same inside. It opens and closes like a match book and it originally sold for one cent. The other side has advertising for Kleenex brand tissues. There are many uses mentioned, to save your handkerchiefs, for these small handy tissues including: lipstick, blending rouge and eye shadow, mascara, nail polish, and other make-up. They can also be used for eyeglasses and camera lenses. The handy size packet was made to keep in a purse or handbag. The advertising premium tissue packet (closed as seen below) measures about 1-7/8'' x 3'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in excellent unused condition as pictured. |
