It is used by moving the slotted areas up or down with the included metal stylus. The sum or answer appears in the circle areas in the center. There is a handle at the top to clear all of the fields to zero. There are areas for addition and subtraction. The stylus is included, as well as the instructions, and a clear and brown vinyl case.
