The picture below shows a larger view of all (3) Small Old Unused Bank Advertising Premium Coin or Token Holder Key Chains in this lot. Two of these have their original paper bag. These are not dated but they are old. They are from a day when you would use a nickel or a dime to make a pay phone telephone call, a parking meter, a highway token, a trolley or streetcar fare token, etc.. These would have been given out to customers as an advertising premium. The three here just happen to be from banks, but any company could have advertised with them. Each of these is made of plastic and they have a metal bead keychain. The paper bags are each marked as follows: EJECTING CADDY HOLDS 4 NICKELS OR 6 DIMES 4 PENNIES OR 6 TOKENS MADE IN U.S.A. In this lot the colors are blue, yellow, and white. The advertising on these read as follows: FOR “AUTO LOANS” THE AMOSKEAG NATIONAL BANK MANCHESTER, N.H. FOR “AUTO LOANS” THE AMOSKEAG NATIONAL BANK MANCHESTER, N.H. (pictures a Pilgrim) ROBERT TREAT SAVINGS Not counting the chains, these coin or token holders measure 1-15/16'' x 1'' x 5/16''. They appear to be in mint unused condition. The twooriginal bags have some spotting as pictured. |
