| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Old Shackman Novelty Surprise Egg with Miniature Toy Tea Service Set. This set is not dated but it is old. It was from Shackman and it was made in Italy. The set here was in the plastic bag with a header card. On order to picture it two staples were simply removed to open the package. It can easily be re-stapled if desired. This set was in this package and it was probably sold in an old five and dime store. The ''Surprise Egg'' could also have been included in old vending or gumball machines. Inside the ''Surprise Egg'' there is a miniature blue pitcher with (6) miniature pink cups and saucer plates. None of these are marked. The two sided header card is marked on the two sides as follows: CHARMING COLORFUL
