| The picture shows a view of all (10) 1964 - 1965 New York World's Fair Advertising Souvenir Items in this lot. These are all booklets and brochures that came from exhibits at the Fair. They all came from a family that collected them at the Fair. The first two items are a booklet and brochure that came from the Mormon Pavilion. The booklet has (36) pages with the story of ''Joseph Smith's Testimony''. In the back are many Mission addresses. The brochure opens up to (16) panels filled with pictures and information about the Mormon Church. It has a long timeline with colorful illustrations that goes from before Jesus Christ was born, up to 1963 or the time of the Fair. There are many more pictures from the exhibit and from Utah. Next there is a typed program for Tuesday, May 18th, at the Vatican Pavilion. The program gives details of the day. It has some soiling from handling and a spot at the bottom. Third is an (8) panel brochure from the Sermons From Science Exhibit titled ''The Prior Claim''. The brochure is mainly about the explosion of scientific knowledge of mankind but that nature has a prior claim to originality. There is much information and pictures inside. The last (6) items in this lot all came from the ''2000 Tribes Pavilion''. One is a two sided brochure that advertises for Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc.. The other (5) items are all unused miniature ''Personal Bible'' booklets. These have (44) pages of different Bible passages. The covers have the Fair's Unisphere pictured. There is a place for a name and address in the front and they are all blank. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the Vatican Pavilion program measures 8-1/2'' x 11''. That program is in fair condition but all of the others are in mint condition as pictured. |
