This package is believed to have been made for display on shelves or in store windows. It is sealed but contains no product. It is also believed to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. There are trade mark and patent dates (see below). The paper wrapper or label is imprinted in dark blue and red on white paper. The two ends have the red Nabisco “INER SEAL” logo or emblem. The package is marked as follows: UNEEDA BISCUIT IN ER SEAL UNEEDA BISCUIT A NEW FORM OF SODA BISCUIT, CRISP, TENDER AND DELICIOUS. SERVE WITH EVERY MEAL; TAKE A BOX WITH YOU ON YOUR TRAVELS; SPLENDID FOR SANDWICHES; PERFECT FOR PICNICS; UNEQUALED FOR GENERAL USE. GOOD FOR EVERYBODY. MADE TO EAT - - - - NOT TO KEEP.
