| | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (4) Different Old Die Cut Cardboard Space & Astronaut Items in this lot. These pieces are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1960s. They are not marked and the maker is unknown. We do not know how these pieces were originally acquired, but we had gotten them with many 1960s space educational posters. One is an Astronaut in his space suit. One is a rocket, possibly Apollo. One is the planet Saturn, and the last one looks like it might be a background scene from the Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral in Florida. The background scene has two vertical folds as made, and the bottom looks like it would fit into a base section. The three larger pieces are one sided. The Saturn planet is two sided with a hole at the top to hang it on a string and spin. All four of these for one price! To judge the sizes the Astronaut measures about 16-5/16'' tall. They appear to be in fair to good condition with some creasing. There are a few pieces of scotch tape on the back of the Astronaut and the rocket. The Astronaut was torn at the shoes as pictured. |
