The pictures below show some larger random sample page views from this ©1898 Booklet The Colonial Book of The Towle Manufacturing Company Silversmiths. This (38) page booklet does not have a cover. The title page reads as follows:

THE COLONIAL BOOK
OF THE TOWLE MFG. CO.
WHICH IS INTENDED TO DELINEATE AND DESCRIBE
SOME QUAINT AND HISTORIC PLACES IN NEWBURYPORT
AND VICINITY AND SHOW THE ORIGIN AND BEAUTY
OF THE COLONIAL PATTERN OF SILVERWARE.
COPYRIGHT, 1898

The last page has a fancy illustration of two large buildings, “CHICAGO OFFICES” and “FACTORY NEWBURYPORT”. It is also marked as follows:

THIS LITTLE BOOK WAS ARRANGED AND PRINTED FOR THE
TOWLE MFG. COMPANY, SILVERSMITHS
BY WILL BRADLEY. AT THE UNIVERSITY PRESS
CAMBRIDGE, U.S.A.
ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTIETH THOUSAND

In the center is an old map that goes from Portsmouth, New Hampshire to Boston, Massachusetts with Ould Newburyport in the center. The map has locations of Electric St. Railways that existed, and locations of Electric St. Railways that were projected. It shows steam railways and highways that were best for bicycling.

The pages have many different silverware pieces with many patterns on them. There are many different forks, spoons, knives, picks, tongues printed in great detail. Also on the pages are many different engraving images in and around Newburyport, Massachusetts. There are scenic landscapes, buildings, bridges, statues, monuments, boats, sailing ships, fireplace, crest

The booklet measures 5-3/4'' x 8-3/4''. The book has much information and a lot of historical images, but it appears to be in poor to fair condition with no cover, two loose pages, a few tears, some spotting, and wear.
