| The picture shows this 1942 Daggetts Chocolates Delivery Truck & Driver Photo Negative. The Bonus here is an old black & white photograph of the same old store pictured in the negative. These were both taken in 1942 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The negative pictures an old unusual looking delevery van. The driver is in front of it in uniform (complete with bow tie) holding a basket full of candies. The store behind has some nice advertising signs.

"Fitchburg Coming Soon TORTILLA FLAT Spencer Tracy - Hedy Lamarr - John Garfield".The delivery truch has a 1942 Massachusetts license plate. There are (2) Daggett's Chocolates crests or logos on the side of the truck. The front and side of the truck are marked as follows: E.A. BERGER CO.

CANDY SPECIALTIES The bonus photograph that is included is of the same confectionery store. It was taken at night with the store window displays lit up. It is not as clear as the negative, but the window signs can be seen. The negative measures 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" and the photograph measures 4-5/8" x 3-1/4". Both appear to be in mint as made condition. |
