The pictures below show a larger front and back view of this 1904 St. Louis World's Fair Advertising Souvenir Spoon. This is a small silver plated souvenir spoon. On the end of the handle is an image of Thomas Jefferson and in the bowl of the spoon is an image of The U.S. Government Building at the Fair. On the back is the Cascade Gardens and the Louisiana Purchase Monument. It is marked on the two sides as follows: 1904 ST. LOUIS JEFFERSON U.S. GOVERNMENT BUILDING CASCADE GARDENS LOUISIANA PURCHASE MONUMENT U.S. SILVER CO. The spoon measures about 4-3/8'' long. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
