The pictures below show larger views of all (48) Colorful 1930s Party Stunts Charades Card Game Cards in this lot. One card was flipped over to show the back design. The other (5) images below show a little closer view of the different cards that are included. We believe that there were (72) cards to the complete 1935 card game. There are no instructions or box here, only the (48) cards that are shown. As mentioned above, there are no instructions, but the object of the game is to act out what the cards say. Many of these cards are very interesting, politically incorrect, racial, sexist, etc., but not so much for the times in the 1930s. Just a few examples are as follows: ''SHOW HOW A HUNGRY COLORED BOY WOULD GO FOR ROAST CHICKEN.'' ''PRETEND YOU ARE A TRAFFIC COP BAWLING SOMEONE OUT.'' ''GIVE A PANTOMIME OF BABE RUTH STRIKING OUT, BASES FULL.'' ''IMITATE TY COBB JUST BEATING THE BALL ACROSS HOME PLATE.'' ''GIVE AN IMITATION OF A FAN DANCER DOING HER FAN DANCE.'' ''IMITATE A BARKER BALLY HOOING FOR A SIDESHOW WITH GESTURES.'' ''SHOW HOW A COWGIRL WALKS AFTER DISMOUNTING FROM HER HORSE.'' ''DEMONSTRATE HOW YOU LOOK MAKING WHOOPEE ON NEW YEAR'S EVE.'' The cards each measure 1-5/8'' x 2-1/2''. The cards appear to be in good used condition with great colorful images as pictured. As mentioned above, this is not a complete game and there are no instructions or box. |
