The picture shows a view of this 1944 United States Patriotic First Day Cover Envelope. The back is blank. This cover was postmarked on 8 March 1944. It features two American flags and a flag shield. Applied is a small photograph with a (48) star American flag and the Statue of Liberty. It has two 5 cent ''Win The War'' Victory postage stamps. This cover has a typed Long Beach, California mailing address. It is marked as follows:
