The pictures show views of this ©1929 The Children's Own Readers Book Two Story Book. This (270) page hard back school storybook is by Mary E. Pennell and Alice M. Cusack. It was illustrated by Marguerite Davis and Blanche Fisher Laite. It was published by Ginn and Company. There are many stories inside with colorful illustrations. A few random examples are shown below. The front and back inside cover pages have scenes from the ''Little Black Sambo'' story that us inside. The stories that are in this book are as follows:

The book measures 5-5/8'' x 7-1/2'' x 3/4''. It appears to be in good well used condition as pictured. The book was well loved and read by many children. It has some children's names written inside (front and back), some school stampings, fingerprints, normal wear and tear by many little hands from use, and some age discoloration on the pages.
