The picture below shows a larger front, back and side views of this 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Cartoon Character Accordion Type Whistle Paper Prize. On the front it has a comic strip or cartoon looking character cat or dog. It looks like one from the early Betty Boop type cartoons. This pre war prize was made in Japan and the Cracker Jack ID number for it was Z-0802. The toy opens and closes like a bellows or an accordion. When it does a whistle sound comes out of a hole in the back. The prize measures about 1-5/8'' wide. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. This is a rare survivor that has remain completely intact and in perfect working order for all of these years.
