The picture shows a view of this Colorful 1940s Framed General Douglas MacArthur Wall Plaque. This plaque has a nice image of General MacArthur in uniform in the center. Around the sides are military aircraft, cannons, big guns, and a tank. The square section at the bottom probably had a 1940s calendar at one time, but it is not present now. Another one could be applied if desired. It is made of a printed cardboard and there is a black and gold metal frame with a design. There is a hanger section on the back. On the back is also the writing ''To Jerry From Aunt Ola''. The plaque reads as follows:

A TRIBUTE TO
GEN. DOUGLAS MacARTHUR

Heroes are men who do their jobs well - Men like Douglas MacArthur. It was civilization's great good fortune that he was on his job that peaceful December Sunday - Ready when the yellow wave washed across the blue Pacific.

Artillery suddenly thundered. Bombers screamed to lay their deadly eggs, but Douglas MacArthur fought his bitter delaying action calmly, cheerfully, confidently - An American working at the job he knew best.

The plaque including the frame measures 8-3/8'' x 11''. It is in excellent condition as pictured.
