It is not marked and the maker is unknown as well. The pin has ''MOTHER'' written out with a square wire and it is mounted on a colorful (in the light) carved shell heart. Also, hanging from the Mother is a star charm with a mounted dark birth stone. We have seen old advertisements offering these pins with your name on them. To get one you would send in your name, with a payment, or maybe as a premium with advertising box tops. This may also have been a souvenir item made on site, such as at an amusement park, Fair, boardwalk, or some other popular tourist location. The pin measures about 1-3/8'' x 1-3/8''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
