The other items are not dated but all of them are old. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items including the following: There is an old World War II Civil Defense Rescue Squad cloth arm band with a insignia cloth patch. There is an old enameled metal Civil Defense Air Raid Warden insignia screw back pin. The brass back section is included. There is a World War II Civil Defense 500 Hours of Service insignia award cloth ribbon. This would slip on to a metal ribbons bar pin. It has no metal back section. Next is an old two sided “Civil Defense Preparedness” card. There are (2) old matching unused picture postcards. These are from the Massachusetts Civil Defense Training Academy of Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield, Massachusetts. The final item in this lot is a © December 1961 Department of Defense, Civil Defense “Fallout Protection” booklet. This is a (48) page book filled with much information and many illustrations. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the booklet measures about 5-1/8'' x 7-3/4''. These items appear to range from good o excellent used condition as pictured. |
