The picture below shows a larger view of parts for this Old Unused Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Advertising Miniature Old Maid & Pig Tub Prize Card Games. There were larger plastic tubs that were tried to be used as packaging by Borden in the 1970s and 1980s. There are about the size of large margarine tubs with lids. This game set is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1970s Cracker Jack tubs. It is from “TUB SERIES 2 - # 1 of 3”. The tub packages and the price for purchasing them allowed for the use of larger prizes such as this one. There are two different card games that are included here. One is the game of “OLD MAID” and the other is called “PIG”. There is also a box to punch out and assemble to hold the card games. The prize also has bthe instructions and rules of the games. To judge the sizes the individual playing cards each measure about 1'' x 1-5/8''. The prize appears to be complete and in mint unused condition as pictured, however from age and handling, a few of the perforated game section panels, have separated. |
