Some of the items are dated (see below). Included here are the following items: There is a 1924 Registered Nurse certificate or diploma from the Florida State Board of Examiners of Nurses. It is signed by five people and dated. The old document has vertical and horizontal folds. It also has some water spotting on the bottom. There are (5) old photographs. Two of them in the center are still on black photo album paper. In the order pictured, these are marked: Taken in the childrens' operating room. Thru the large window can be seen the back grounds of the Notre Dame Academy. 5-7-24 Nurse 1919 Nurse 1919 1/25/26 To Jon (personal message) Love Cynthia There is a sterling silver Nurse figure charm bracelet charm. It has a white painted uniform. Next is an enameled Nursing Assistant pin. It is marked: NURSING ASSISTANT CERTIFIED UNIFORM ACCESSORIES ©1977 There are (2) old Registered Nurse (RN) plastic toy rings. These were probably from a toy medical set, or as a prize in an old gum ball machine. There is a coin with the medical symbol that reads: GOD BLESS NURSES FOR THEY HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, COMPASSION TO CARE, AND KINDNESS TO SPARE. There is an unused “NURSES THE HEART OF CARING” pin on a thank you card. There are (2) business card type magnets from the Rochester, New Hampshire Rural District Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice. Next there is an unused sticker from the American College Nursing Home Administrators. The last (4) items in this lot are pinback buttons. Two of these have bear images.
