This advertising box is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1900s. This printed paper covered cardboard box is empty. It may have been opened, emptied and re-closed, or it may have been made empty to be used as a dummy display box in a glass case, or on a shelf of an old general store. It is imprinted in red and gold with green paper labels on the ends. the box is marked as follows: NABISCO TRADE MARK NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY NEW YORK, U.S.A. NABISCO VANILLA This empty box measures 6-1/2'' x 3-1/8'' x 1''. It appears to be in excellent condition for its age. There is some wear to one corner, a few small spots, and a small tear on one end label, all as pictured. |
