The picture below shows a larger front and back view of this 1990s Artist Made Cracker Jack Advertising Sailor Jack Character Sulphide Glass Marble. This marble has a sulphide figure of Sailor Jack saluting. The figure inside was made from a 1950s Sailor Jack Cracker Jack prize.

I had contracted with a California Artist to create a handful of these to give to some special Cracker Jack collector friends in the 1990s. The Artist no longer makes marbles. This marble was an extra one that was left over. Very few of these were made and they are not available anywhere else.

The sulphide piece inside does not have the detail that the first ones had. They were made in the same way, by hand, as these type marbles were made back in the 1800s. They have the usual manufacturing flaws such as bubbles in the glass.

The marble measures about 1-5/8'' wide. It is in excellent as made condition as pictured.
