The picture below shows two larger views of this Old Unmarked Variegated Bakelite Mechanical Pencil. It is believed to be made of bakelite or some other early cream and black plastic material. There are no markings. There are gold metal parts that are probably made of brass. It is tight, but it works by turning the writing tip. Extra lead can be heard inside by shaking the pencil. The mechanical pencil measures about 4-3/4'' long. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured.
